If coming from the A30, exit at Bodmin and follow the signs to Lostwithiel until you reach the A390 then towards St Austell. Lanlivery and the Crown Inn are signposted from the A390 to the west of Lostwithiel.
When driving from the St Austell direction, the turning is to the left. If you get to the junction signposted Bodmin & Lanhydrock House, you have gone too far!!!
Similarly, when coming from the Lostwithiel direction, the turning is to the right.
